How is Pace Calculated?

Pace is the time it takes to cover a unit of distance. It's calculated by dividing your total time by the distance covered.

Pace vs Speed

Pace (minutes per km/mile) tells you how long each unit takes. Speed (km/h or mph) tells you how much distance you cover per hour. Runners typically use pace; cyclists use speed.
